Slant, the financial advice industry's AI-native client relationship management (CRM) platform, today announced its integration with CurrentClient, the modern, compliant phone system for advisors. Since many advisor-client conversations take place either verbally or via text or phone, this partnership adds another vital layer of client data to Slant CRM.

CurrentClient offers advisors a variety of phone-related services through its dedicated phone number, including calls, texts, recording conversations, and interactive voice responses. The deep integration with Slant enables Slant users to simply press a button in the CRM to call or text a client, instead of copying and pasting phone numbers across multiple places. Slant can record both outbound and inbound calls either automatically after advisors select that process or, in two-party consent states, following a message stating the call is being recorded.

"Advisors connect with clients across every channel — email, phone, video, and in person — and the details shared in each of those moments are vital to building a real relationship," said Thomas Clawson, co-founder of Slant. "Our partnership with CurrentClient puts virtually every detail a client has ever shared at an advisor's fingertips, driving better planning outcomes and a stronger sense of trust and care."

As Slant already offers AI meeting note-taking, the CurrentClient integration extends its capabilities to ingest more important client data and context for financial advisors, which Slant's AI can then use to power AI workflows.

Among the many benefits of this integration is that advisors can enable automations to set up regular client review meetings at their typical schedule. This helps advisors maintain their relationships; Slant has become known as the CRM that knows relationships matter. Advisors can also use their notes in Slant to send clients emails, written with the advisor's voice, via AI that preps clients for these meetings.

CurrentClient enables compliant archiving either within its system or through several of its advisors' third-party platforms.
